Somewhere over the rainbow

I wanna share this song with everybody. It seems so nice to me with less instrument. Check this out :)

To know about the artist you can visit here

Lyric

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Once in a lullaby ii ii iii
Somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Dreams really do come true ooh ooooh
Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me ee ee eeh
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops thats where you'll find me oh
Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly
And the dream that you dare to,why, oh why can't I? i iiii

Well I see trees of green and
Red roses too,
I'll watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Well I see skies of blue and I see clouds of white
And the brightness of day
I like the dark and I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying, I...I love you
I hear babies cry and I watch them grow,
They'll learn much more
Than we'll know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world (w)oohoorld

Someday I'll wish upon a star,
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top that's where you'll find me
Oh, Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
And the dream that you dare to, why, oh why can't I? I hiii ?

International mother language day

Today is 21 February, the international mother language day. Just few years back it was a special day for Bangladeshi people only but now its a significant day all over the world as it is considered to be the international mother language day. We are the only nation who perform an agitation for their language. I feel proud of it as a Bangladeshi.

Here are 2 pictures of the tirbute for the guys who was killed on the 21 February of 1952 during the agitaion.

A song made my eyes teary

This morning I heard a song titled "Crying in the rain" by A-ha and it made my eyes teary. I am not a broken hearted guy but it made me so sad. I might be got hurt but not broken hearted yet.

I liked the song very much.
Thank you Fahim for the link in esnips.

I suggest you to go to the esnips link and hear the song first.
Then watch the video if you want. The video is not so nice.

Here is the esnips Link

I'll never let you see
The way my broken heart is hurting me
I've got my pride and I know how to hide
All the sorrow and pain
I'll do my crying in the rain

If I wait for stormy skies
You won't know the rain from the tears in my eyes
You'll never know that I still love you
So though the heartaches remain
I'll do my crying in the rain

Raindrops falling from heaven
Could never take away my misery
But since we're not together
I'll wait for stormy weather
To hide these tears I hope you'll never see

Someday when my crying's done
I'm gonna wear a smile and walk in the sun
I may be a fool
But till then, darling, you'll never see me complain
I'll do my crying in the rain

Since we're not together
I'll wait for stormy weather
To hide these tears I hope you'll never see

Someday when my crying's done
I'm gonna wear a smile and walk in the sun
I may be a fool
But till then, darling, you'll never see me complain
I'll do my crying in the rain
I'll do my crying in the rain
I'll do my crying in the rain

Warm welcome to Spring

Today is the first day of Spring in Bangladesh. There are six seasons in our country and it is said that Spring is the king of all the seasons. To celebrate the arrival of Spring Bording Vista staffs decided to come to office on this day in traditional attire of Bangladesh. Consequently all the Bangladeshi guys came in Panjabi and sandals and the females in saris.

Our CEO, Jan, came in jeans and shirt tucked in. But he might be feeling a bit uneasy. More over we were telling him again and again to buy a panjabi for this special day and finally he went to nearby Aarong shop, bought a nice panjabi and came back wearing that. We were yelling to see him in the panjabi. He looks so happy to be in the same row of us.

Today the whole office was in a nice mode. So many pictures have been taken by mushfiq vi. I also brought my camera with me but I didn't take pictures as I saw that i am getting some very tiny rain spots in my pictures. I became a bit sad seeing that. Otherwise I would show you people the pictures of our office today.

Hope everybody will enjoy this Spring.
A warm welcome to the Spring, the king of all seasons :)

We have got omni lights on our office desks

Proper light intensity is very much important for any kind of worker. We are worker as well - IT worker :D So we also need enough light on our desk and around us. Researches have found that human efficiency decreases with the degradation of intensity of light. As Bording Vista is very much conscious about making money it doesn't want to make its employees inefficient. Consequently, this afternoon, everyone of us were supplied a table lamp with omni light.

Now there is a table lamp on every desk at the left corner. Its looks a bit funny that we are working in the office under the table lamp but it is helping us as we found the light is not sufficient in our office after the installation of new furniture. The lamp doesn't look bad. In fact those are smart looking table lamps :D Sunny vi addressed those as "I robot lamp" :P I wish I could show you the pictures of my desk now but I don't have my camera with me. Right now I am writing this post under the light of "I robot lamp" :D I hope one of these days I will be able to show you some pictures of my office how it looks after the decoration has been completed. The sad thing is it became a bit congested than before :(

Training with Henrik is over

I have been going under a training program for last two weeks. Henrik was our instructor. He is a Danish guy and visited Dhaka for 15 days only to conduct that training. The training was on Windows Sharepoint which is a product of Microsoft for web application developing.

The training was a good one. We have learned many things about sharepoint. Its difficult to remember all those. It needs much practice to keep those in mind. But the thing is that all of us enjoyed the training. Henrik, our instructor was a good guy. I don't know how much he enjoyed to train us (I hope he did enjoyed the time with us :P ).

At the end of the training we gave Henrik some gifts as a token of his visit in Bangladesh. We tried to give him something that reflects Bangladeshi trend. Henrik seemed very happy go get the gifts. I hope he really liked those.

Here are some snapshots of that day.

Shafayet vi is giving the gifts to Henrik.

Henrik is checking out the kolapuri sandals. Is he confused :-?

The dark blue fotua... That looks so nice on him.

He is checking the rickshaw out. Its a miniature of Rickshaw made of silver colored metal... A nice souvenir I think.

All of us with Henrik. He looks a bit blushing :P

I am checking if the size of the fotua is ok for him and I found that its a bit small for him. Later Sunny vi and Nabila apu went to the Aarong shop again and got one size bigger which fitted so nice on him.

Making fun with the sandals he got. Shafayet vi is not unhappy at all to be spanked by that sandals when it is Henrik :D

Henrik left Dhaka on last Friday. I think he had a nice journey on the way of his home and also had a nice time in Bangladesh.

Thank you Henrik.
Hope to see you again amongst us :)

Hepatitis B vaccin

I have started the course of hepatitis B vaccin today. I have been thinking to take this vaccin for a long time but out of laziness I couldn't start. This time Jashim and me decided to start the course and finally we did. Today we have taken the first dose of the vaccination. We have to take 3 more doses. 2 more wil be with a month interval each and the last one will be a year later. I hope we will be able to finish the course :)

For your information, we are taking the vaccination course from the Islami Bank hospital. At first I didn't want to go there as I am very much annoyed by the service of Islami bank. My brother has an account in one of the branches of Islami bank. I went there few times but they don't help their customers much. So I was really afraid to go to their hospital but I saw a great discrimination between the bank and the hospital. Everybody in the hospital is very helpful. You will get necessary information and services from every personnel there. I am quite impressed :)

Each and every dose costs 530 BDT. More over you need to test your blood before starting the course to be sure if you have hepatitis B already. If you have then you can't go through the course. The name of the test is HBsAg and it costs 400 BDT. I suggest you to complete the course asap if you haven't already :)

Extinguishing training

Yesterday morning I saw some boxes had been arrived in our offie. Later I came to know those were fire extinguishers.

Around 5 pm our CEO, Jan, called everybody and told us to participate in the training HOW TO EXTINGUISH FIRE. The man who came with those boxes showed us how to use those. We suggested to make a fire and then we will extinguish it but Jan didn't agree. He just told us to go one by one to use the extinguisher only once. Everybody was laughing by seeing Jan's funny acting and movements. The extinguisher makes high level of noise.

It will be fun if you have a fire extinguishing training in your office :D

My trip has been canceled

I was informed by the office authority that my trip to Sweden has been canceled. Previously I told that it has been postponed but now they told us that trip has been canceled for they decided to bring those professional guys to Dhaka from Boras, Sweden.

All of those 6 guys(including me) who were supposed to go to Sweden prepared well for the trip - materially and mentally. So the news was really a disappointing one for us.
