A memorable birthday

Last sunday was my 25th birthday and it will be a memorable birthday for me always :)


The speciality of this birthday started with getting nice gifts. I got so many gifts on this birthday that I never got before. I got those before my birthday comes yet those were birthday gifts. Those gifts made me feel that I am someone special. That's a wonderful feeling. The day became more special when I got a job offer from a new company named Bording Vista and was told to sign the contract. You know which day they mentioned?? My birthday :P I was asked to sign the contract on the day which is my birthday actually. Wow... it was amazing. A new job on birthday. I became excited, I was waiting for the day to come and finally I signed the new job contract on that day. It was a great great feeling.


After the evening I was with my friends. We dined out and had good time together. While coming home at night I was quite happy. I think it's a perfect birthday to be reminisced for the rest of my life :)

Reminiscing an old incident :)

These days I am habituated with ATM booth. I draw money from ATM booth 3, 4 tiems a month. Last time when I drew some money from a booth at Banani I just remembered my first experience :D This time I had my camara with me. So I took the snap :)





You may remember my first experience with ATM booth that I shared in one of my very early posts in this blog. I was rattled at that time, my hands were shaking :P Now I am quite comfortable with ATM booth :) I am learing to cope technologies :D

Iftar party

Two iftar parties in two consecutive days. We, the University mates didn't have a big gathering for a long time. So some of our friends who work in GrameenPhone decided to throw an iftar party for the whole batch. Consequently we had an iftar party on last friday in Star Kabab restaurant.

Various kinds of foods were there. We could not finish all of those :( Let's see some of the snaps of the party.

It was a big gathering. Almost 80 guys came in that party.


The very next day, on Saturday, we had another party which was specially for our department, CIT. The Bnaglalink boys arranged this one. It was held in Boomers at Banani. In this party we had much fun than the previous one. We were gossiping for long time after finished almost all the foods :D

Around 25 guys came in this party but it was much fun cause this 25 guys are very much intimate to each other. We were there for long time after the iftar. We were gossiping and having fun. Thank you Banglalink guys and Anto for arranging such a nice party :)

My friend has left Dhaka :(

Today, September 9, 2007, Gagan has left Bangladesh for Finland after a month and 6 days' vacation. He had very hectic times throughout the vacation. He came to settle the most important thing of his life. Yes he got married on 9th August and just after one month he went back to finland.


Yesterday I was with him the whole day. I was in his home till 11 pm. This time the farewell seemed more heart aching. Throughout this one month I met him most of the days and as I know he may stay abroad longer this time for he is gonna take his wife to his place within months I became more sad. Why I became more sad this time? Because I felt the absence of a good friend nearby for months now. I wish I had a friend like him always around me.


Anyway... I wish him good luck and good days in abroad and very happy life along with his wife in forthcoming days.

Got a digital camera... Is it? Really??

Yes... I have got a digital camera. The amazing thing is it's a gift :)


I have fascination for camera from long ago. I liked to shoot pictures by our family camera. That was not a digital one, you need film to take pictures. You know what?? That camera was lost from me. Once the camera was with me and I just got out of the car(the car was from a rent house) leaving the camera behind me in the car. The next day we contacted to the rent house but they told that they didn't find any camera inside the car. So I lost our family camera. From that time I was thinking that I would buy a good camera but I couldn't manage enough money to buy a good one yet. Last thursday I got a digital camera as a gift and it's a quite good one i think :)


My friend Gagan gave me this new camera. He is going to leave Dhaka on September 9. Before leaving Dhaka it was his gift to me while I did nt give him anything as a wedding gift :P I wanted to give something but somehow I did not. I don't disagree that I did many things in his wedding. Did he give me this camera for I had done many things in his wedding :-? As I did nt do anything for a requital I just hope it's not for the hardships I had done rahter it's a token of our very good friendship :)

There is full manual control in this camera. If you want you can play with the art of photography by this one. You can control the shutter speed and aperture. The macro mode is also very good. Gagan said this one is just the previous thing of DSLR camera that means you will get many of the features of DSLR but adding extra lens. I think 12x optical zoom with image stabilization is more than enough for me :P No need to add extra lens :)

Another day in water kingdom

Its been long I haven't wrote anything new in my blog. I have been a bit busy these days in my office and in my personal life as well. Have to run here and there every now and then and being very busy in the office. I am amazed to see that I didn't have any post for the whole August. Today I managed some time to write something. Yes, I am gonna post a new post now :-)


Yesterday (Saturday, 01 Sept, 2007) I went to water kingdom again with my friends. This can be told as a marriage treat. One of my very good friends, Gagan, got married few days back. He offered very few of us to go to water kingdom and have fun with them. So Jalal, Rahin and me went along with the newly married couple.


We started early but it was almost 2 hours journey from dhaka because of traffic. We reached the water kingdom around 12 pm. We had some rides too before getting in the water kingdom. We went for roller coaster. We also went for flying carpet, whirly bird and vortex tunnel. We were there until 7 pm. This time I went to the heritage park attached to fantasy kingdom. I didn't go there before. I liked it so much. There you will find miniatures of 8 famous historical structures of Bangladesh. The miniatures are unbelievably nice. We took few pictures but I haven't got those yet. I will post those when I get.


We had a nice time. Gagan gave us a nice treat with so many foods (not so good with respect to prices) but we enjoyed the food too :D All of us were very tired and exhausted in the evening. But it was really fun and everyone had a great enjoyment.
