Last day in my present office

Today was the last day in my present office. I thought it would nt be sad at all but I found a bit amazingly that I am really sad to leave the office.

I told it several times that the environment of this office is really nice. Its very flexible as well. More over I was under a very good project manager here. So my task became easier than it was anticipated.

I will always remember few of my colleagues from here. At first I wanna name my project manager and team leader Shahadat vi. Its a fortune to get a PM like him. He does nt pressurize on his subordinates but makes them do the work in timely manner. I cant remember a time when he got angry to me or showed his annoyance upon me.

After my project manager the person I wanna mention about is Sadia apu. She was my coworker throughout these 10 months. I think no one in this office had bugged his coworker that much as I did Sadia apu :D She helped me always in any kinda problem not only work purpose but also helped me in some of the aspects of my personal life. Sometimes she was annoyed by me but finally she did help :D I am really grateful to her.

I wanna mention another name here that is Polin vi. He was also my team mate since 3 months or more now. He is a very jolly person and I like his company. I have been working with him not for that long time as I have been with Shahadat vi and Sadia apu yet we became intimate to each other.

These are the persons I was working here with and that's why I became intimate with them. Other than these persons I have good relation with everybody of this office as well. May be I am not that much intimate with everybody but i can say it boldly that I dont have bad personal relation with anybody of this organization. I hope they all will wish me good luck in my forth coming life and I also want everyone's prosperity and happy life who were my colleagues here :)

I have resigned my current job

Few days back I told in one of my posts that I have signed my new job contract on 30 September. I have to join that office on 1st November. So I had to inform in my present office.

On 18 of October I informed my Project manager first then the one who is in charge of the office right now. It was a shock for them because I made it a bit sudden thing for them. I did nt tell them earlier or did nt show any kinda sign of leaving the office.

They asked me if I had finalized it by that time. I said yes. So they requested me to extend the time a bit for I have many things (they were saying so specially the in charge) to hand over to other person and set few persons dedicated for particular task but as it was not possible to extend the time for me I said sorry as well as I assured them that i will hand over all my responsibilities properly. They said ok and did nt allow me to take leave in the rest of the days. I wanted to take leve for 3-4 days at the end of October and join the new office after taking a rest of few days but it did nt happen in that way :( Tomorrow is 29 October and I still have to go to office and the following days of this month as well :( :( :( May be its my fault... may be I should inform them a bit earlier but I did nt :( :( :(

IELTS registration

I have registered for IELTS. I have done the courageous task on 6 October. My exam will be on 17 November. I have nt started to prepare myself yet, not by reviewing nor even mentally :( I think I need to get some idea first. I should start soon.

Very few people knows about it. I just don't like telling it to many people but I am telling here for I need luck. Hey people... wish me goodluck :P :P :P

Open air Iftar Party :)

Like every year we went to have our open air iftar this ramadan. We have been doing it for 7 years now. It started in the year 2000. At that time we were 3 in number(Razib, Jashim & me). In 2001 again we 3 arranged it. In 2002 Khalid was included so we became 4 in number and upto 2003 we 4 used to arrange that party. In 2004 Tasnim was included and we became 5 in number and we became 6 in number in the year 2006 when Shujon was included.


We took the necessary things from home like lemonade, water, onion, chilly, salt, newspapers, a bed sheet and so on. Its like a picnic iftar :D The place we go is at the edge of the city near a village and there is a weekly village market held on every wednesday. That's why we use to arrange the party on any of the wednesday in ramadan every year. We buy the necessary foods like jhal boot, ghoomny, peyaju, alur chop, beguni, muri, dates, jilapi, salad etc. from that village market. We have a boat ride to cross the lake full of very dirty stinking water. We have our iftar the other side of the lake where there is no people and the place is an open one.

Iftar party in the office

Last monday there was an iftar party in our office. It was arranged by the office management. I had my cam with me but I couldn't take many pictures during iftar because high official personnels were present in the iftar party :( At least I could take the pictures of the iftar plate :D
