16 of December is our National Victory Day. People try to celebrate this day. We(me along with my friends) celebrated it in a different way this year.
On 15 December we were gossiping and wasting our valuable time(as we do everyday) sitting in a dirty and unhygienic restaurant of our area named JINJIRA HOTEL. Suddenly Khalid proposed to celebrate the victory day at night in the rooftop of jashim's home. His proposal was to decorate the whole roof with small flags made of paper and a special fireworks (you will see after awhile) at 12 midnight. We agreed and at once went to buy flags. We bought 500 small flags and again came back to Jinjira Hotel to make a final plan. As I am a bit epicurean I proposed to arrange some foods for our dinner :P We fixed our menu - naan ruti(a special bread made of flour), bot vaji(beef... I better say fried stomach of cow), grilled chicken, salad and soft drinks. Among all those items we decided to prepare the grill of our own. So the night would be a barbecue night :)
We started from the evening. It took a long time to prepare all the thing. Finally we took our dinner around 1040 pm. Then after few minutes rest khalid started to write 16 (in Bangla) using sand on the floor and we flamed it at 12 midnight. I think you will get a better idea if you see some of the pictures :)

It was about 12 midnight and we are flaming the number 16. This is the special fire work that Khalid proposed earlier :)
The number is burning. We couldn't flame the number fully as we were running out of kerosene :( Otherwise it would be so nice.
After doing all those things everyone agreed that none of us did celebrate The National Victory Day in such a way before. This time we did it spontaneously and it was really a great fun for all of us.

Oh... That was a great night. Once in my childhood I saw some ppl were doing some great enjoyment at night like this. I had a dream to do something like them or more than them.
Finally on that day my dream came true in a different way. Maybe there was not enough fire works but it was one of the most enjoyabel night then many.
And it was all possible for Khalid coz he first thought about it and proposed to Jashim but Jashim denied thinking of maybe this idea would be lost like many. But on that 15th december when khalid proposed again to all we just grabed the idea to make it possible.
And We did.
